The Good Food Box Program is a food security project that aims to make healthy, fresh food both financially and physically accessible. Produce is bulk purchased and sent to a packing and distribution center where volunteers will help to put together the boxes of food.

Volunteering for this program allows the price of the boxes to remain low--this is an important factor in making these boxes financially accessible to everyone.

Join a team of produce box-packing volunteers to distribute the bulk produce amongst the boxes that people have pre-ordered.

Do you dream about hosting a cooking show? Would you love to teach people how to cook healthy foods?

Greenways Land Trust is looking for a volunteer to film tutorials teaching people how to make recipes using the foods within their Good Food Box.

The Strathcona Good Food Box Program is a food security project that aims to make healthy, fresh food both financially and physically accessible. Produce is bulk purchased and sent to a packing and distribution center where volunteers will help to put together the boxes of food.

Once the boxes have been distributed, people will have the opportunity to watch tutorials to learn how to make healthy meals with the food in their box. If you want to know more about volunteering to make these tutorial videos, visit www.volunteercr.ca and click on "I want to volunteer"

Volunteering for this program allows the price of the boxes to remain low--this is an important factor in making these boxes financially accessible to everyone.

Greenways Land Trust is looking for a volunteer coordinator for this program.

The Coordinator is responsible for liaising with Campbell River community members, collecting and managing orders/payments, and coordinating volunteers in the packing of boxes, as well as program participant box pick-up. This position is much more time-intensive than the other program volunteer positions and therefore comes with an honorarium per round of orders.
