Engaged Volunteer Management

 About the workshop:

This workshop will give you the opportunity and information to learn about the volunteer management cycle from planning, recruitment and selection, to training, evaluation and recognition – all necessary components of effective management of volunteers.

Who should attend:

  • Those directly involved in or those overseeing any aspect of volunteer management including planning, recruitment, screening, selection, training, evaluation and recognition of volunteers.

About the facilitator:

Anne-Marie Koeppen has over 20 years of experience in community building.  She is a contracted Special Events Coordinator for Volunteer Cowichan, where she has organized events and activities such as volunteer fairs, helping hands recognition and the Cowichan volunteer coffee break.  She is an active board member for Volunteer BC and is the North Island Rep for the Administrators of Volunteer Managers.  As a sector connector, Anne-Marie believes in the power of many rather than the isolation of one and that relationships and building relationships create healthy, resilient communities cialis in luxemburg kaufen.

$35.00 pp for Volunteer Campbell River member agencies, $50. pp for non-members

Light snacks and refreshments included.

Book early to avoid disappointment!  Email mail@volunteercr.ca or call 250-287-8111 with your name, email and agency contact information.  Then, follow up with payment by cash or cheque before October 7th (no refund after this date) to Volunteer Campbell River, lower level of City Hall Monday-Thursday 10 am – 4 pm, PO Box 983, 900 Alder St., Campbell River, BC, V9W 6Y4.

TeenFlight is a free program available to teens ages 15 to 18 years of age who have an interest in aviation. During the program, the group builds an aircraft alongside experienced volunteer mentors.

Teenflight is looking for someone who can bring experience and expertise to ensure the financial success of their group as a Treasurer on their Board of Directors. Booking keeping experience is required for this role.

The board meetings are typically once per month for1.5 hours. Board Members are asked to fulfill a two-year term which, which may be renewed.
