Youth Can 20/20 is devoted to anyone aged 15-29 volunteering in our community. We provide connections to 100 local agencies looking for volunteers.
Are you 15-29?
Volunteer Campbell River is committed to empowering volunteers who are 15 – 29 to engage in volunteerism. We will provide invaluable training opportunities, mentorships, and a chance to explore and grow personal skills. Events will be planned and managed by youth volunteers, allowing them to exercise and practice skills like team building, employment readiness, project management, leadership, positive risk-taking, and confidence. Volunteers will be supported and supervised by our engagement staff who will help turn their passions into projects.
“A Month that Matters”
Inspired by the UN Sustainable Goals, this series of events will help high school youth to learn, see, and do. They will visit organizations in our community that are making a difference, participate in valuable training, volunteer at community events, and have fun! Staff will track hours of participants and provide a certificate of completion when finished. Youth are able to attend as many or as few events as they choose.
Audience: High School aged youth 15-18 years
Dates: July 8-August 1
