About the workshop:
This workshop will give you the opportunity and information to learn about the volunteer management cycle from planning, recruitment and selection, to training, evaluation and recognition – all necessary components of effective management of volunteers.
Who should attend:
- Those directly involved in or those overseeing any aspect of volunteer management including planning, recruitment, screening, selection, training, evaluation and recognition of volunteers.
About the facilitator:
Anne-Marie Koeppen has over 20 years of experience in community building. She is a contracted Special Events Coordinator for Volunteer Cowichan, where she has organized events and activities such as volunteer fairs, helping hands recognition and the Cowichan volunteer coffee break. She is an active board member for Volunteer BC and is the North Island Rep for the Administrators of Volunteer Managers.
