National Volunteer Week
Thank you to everyone in the community that supported our events and fundraisers and we hope your own volunteer appreciation events went well. Once again thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who help us all throughout the year! Mark your calendars for next year when NVW will be April 18 - 24, 2010!

Volunteer Campbell River AGM
We held our annual general meeting on Tuesday, May 19th. Thank you to the Museum for the use of their beautiful space and to our guest speaker Doug Preston from North Island Employment Foundations who spoke on Campbell River Trends and the job market. It was a very interesting and informative presentation.
8th Annual Garage, Plant, Crafts & Hot Dog Sale
The Volunteer Centre held its 8th annual garage, plant, and craft sale at the CR Common Mall on May 23rd in conjunction with a Hot Dog Sale at Thrifty Foods. Thanks to our volunteers who helped with this event and those that came by to shop and eat!
