Health & Wellness can assist people find their own optimum level of wellness and wisdom. Work-life balance is a state of well-being that allows people to effectively manage multiple responsibilities at work, at home, and in their community.

Organizations can learn to facilitate this balance in the areas of stress management, goals identification, needs, values, interests, and more. Assimilating wellness principles into the workplace provides a high degree of commitment and a desire to be an agent of change and these practices have many pay-offs for both volunteers/employees and the organization in terms of volunteer/employee satisfaction, productivity and efficiency..
