Volunteer Campbell River is pleased to offer the following new workshop:
How to Successfully Involve, Engage and Empower Boards as Effective Fundraisers
on Thursday, May 17th from 9:00 – 12:00 noon
About the workshop:
It seems such a natural assumption that your board will be involved in fundraising activities and not just involved but actually take ownership and responsibility. The reality is sometimes far from active involvement and enthusiastic support. Probably one of the single areas that presents fund development staff and board members with the most frustration and a never-ending discussion topic. This workshop is for Executive Directors, Board Members and key staff and volunteers that work on fundraising activities and programs.
See Training Page for the details.
Feedback from the workshop, “Best Practices for Successful Volunteer Engagement” with Marjorie Driscoll that was held on Wed. April 18th:
Marjorie was very good at getting everyone involved - made me think outsidethe box! Carol N.
Love Marjorie! Amazing! Loved the way she engages us. Candice S.

This is a special time we set aside each spring to honour the volunteers who donate their time and energy to fellow citizens and non-profit organizations.
